Biography:
David Remund, Ph.D., APR, is an assistant professor within the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Drake
University in Des Moines, Iowa.  His research focuses on leadership and ethics in public relations.  Prior to entering academia, David designed and managed strategic communications programs for Bank of America, Citigroup, Principal Financial Group and Wells Fargo.  He has consulted independently and worked in the agency envionment as well, most recently as a director of strategic planning.  David completed his doctoral studies in mass communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He is nationally accredited by the Public Relations Society of America.
